The dark reality of the past is that when we remember it so frequently, our present suffers.

Understanding the Past

Have you ever noticed how often we live in the present moment yet find ourselves thinking about what happened yesterday, recalling what others said, or revisiting events from years ago? The past holds many good memories, but it is important to remember that those times, and the people who were a part of them, are gone. We cannot return to them.
The dark reality of the past is that when we remember it so frequently, our present suffers. But what is the past? Even something that happened a minute ago is the past. The word 'past' refers simply to any moment that is no longer happening. If it has already happened, why does it still occupy our thoughts and take up our precious time?
The past causes problems.
In my field, there are people who did not reach the end because of their past and became bored with life. We come across clients with depression, panic, and anxiety who are unable to live their present life because of things that happened in their past, and it takes us a lot of time to make them realize that they should forget whatever has happened and forget about the past. Of course, it is not in their control, but the thing is that if we are already aware of the dark side of our past, then we cannot avoid boredom and go in that direction.

Real-life example of it

Let us do an exercise from which you will get an idea of what I am saying. You are thinking about something unpleasant about your past, and now you are feeling bad; surely you will feel tense, and your heart will make you go back to that time and answer about the boredom that happened at that time, but you cannot do this. You can only think, and by thinking, you can waste at least a few minutes of your time.
Many good incidents also happen in our past, remembering which makes you feel very good, but the truth is that such incidents are very few in our memory, and bad incidents do not go away from our memory. Never think about it. The truth is that we ourselves don't want to lose them; we keep remembering them and thinking about them. This is not enough for us.
What History Tried to Teach Us
If we ever look at you, you will see our past like a master who will tell us that you did right in this and you did wrong in that. Just like if you decide that you should leave your country for your life, then when you leave and become stable, you will feel happy thinking about the moment when you made this decision. And if we make a mistake in the past, it will warn us against doing it again.
Media's Role in the Past
The media often show people trapped in their misery or suggests that revenge is preferable to forgiveness. This influences how we view our own past and how we deal with negative experiences.
Now, let's consider how we can protect ourselves from the negative influence of our past.

Ways to avoid the past

1. Parents' role
The key to avoiding this starts with parents. If parents keep on repeating such things in front of their children and talking about what happened in the past, then this thing will get etched in the mind of the child, no matter what age they are, and whoever is thinking the same thing will not forget this. If parents take the first step to save themselves from this, then it is quite possible that the coming generation will not be near them and will understand that this is a useless thought.

2. Media role

The media also needs to run such things that will draw attention to the fact that humans are suffering in the present and say goodbye to the past.
3. Your own role in your life
Finally, if you are a smart person, then get yourself out of the thoughts of your past, and as soon as you think of a past time, shake it off immediately, because it is a gentle lesson for your current mental and physical health.
Final Thoughts

Remove the filth from your mind.

Focuses on the moments of your past that are fun, not on those that make you feel bored. Never let your past become a trauma for your future, because this is not a beneficial thought for your present life.
This is all my opinion. You are obliged to share your opinion with me. I am not sure how you liked this blog of mine, and how you view your past. Thank you for your reading.
